In 1987, De Dijk had their definitive breakthrough with their fourth album 'Wakker In Een Strange World'. It was the first album the band recorded for their new label Mercury Records. The album contains the hit singles 'Dansen Op De Vulkaan' and 'Mag Het Licht Uit, two songs that have since become indispensable in the band's rich oeuvre. For the first time since the original release, 'Awake In A Strange World' is now available again on LP, including an insert with the lyrics.
